I don’t like mid-year lists and have never made one before, but I’ve decided to make one this year purely because it has been such a great fucking year for music and this list looks as good as any year end list. And the albums I’m most looking forward to haven’t even been released yet! It was hard to narrow it down to 10 albums, in a year filled with such talent I’ve achieved the impossible. Of course there are the best of the rest that just missed the cut and there are many albums I’m looking forward to in the next five months. I would be happy if nothing else was released for the rest of the year. Best year ever.
